Sonic the Hedgehog 4, announced as a new and episodic 2D adventure for the blue mascot releasing on XBLA, PSN, and Wii (motion controls on the latter two versions) this summer. Sega hasn’t yet revealed how it plans to mess this up, but I suspect the company will discuss those details as the game’s release approaches. Look forward to it!

Let’s turn to UK: Resistance for a quick comment:

Hahaha! Poor Sega. Maybe they won’t mess it up, provided they don’t tamper with the Sonic formula too much. The DS games were passable.
